With driving the Mini this spring, and riding the motorbike to work most the time, I just have not gotten around to it,

Finally Sunday, I decided it was time because I’m driving the van to PA this weekend to get fireworks.

Step #1 - Gather up the required tools.

Kinja'd!!!

Step #2 - Gather up summer tires.

Kinja'd!!!

Step #3 - Shit pants.

Kinja'd!!!

Step #4 - Change tires.

Step #5 - Clean and label snows and put them away.

Kinja'd!!!

Step 3 is why I wear gloves to change tires. NOPE NOPE NOPE

Going to PA to buy fireworks. Going to PA to buy fireworks? Who goes to PA to buy fireworks? Ohio and South Carolina, you can’t get shit in PA.

Edit: I forgot about all the new fireworks stores on the boarder. I’ll amend it to “you can’t get shit in PA, if you’re a PA resident”

I would have just sold all the wheels and tires due to step 3 “free to a good home, slight pest problem”

Do I have to shit my pants every time I change my tires?

How important is step three? Can I skip it if I pre-shit my pants?

Getting explodey-bang-bang in SC: a time-honored tradition in my neck of the woods.

Here’s the first things they make you do when you walk in the door.

Prove you’re not a PA resident

Prove you are not carrying matches/lighter.

I’ve taken day trips to Ohio. 10 hour round trip is worth it. Even though I’ve got stores that sell the good stuff only 20 minutes away, I still have to take the drive to the opposite border.

Grilling tires doesn’t improve their performance, McMike. Also you could totally take that spider.

My favorite explodey-bang-bang store is on the opposite side of SC, so it’s a four and a half hour round trip instead of more like two and a half to the point of nearest contact.

It’s just a spider... It’s not like it’s going to jump or bite or anything...

Now those little toads that like to live in the downspout and get flushed out onto the driveway when it rains, those are evil, because they jump, leave a slimy trail everywhere, and don’t do anything useful, like eat bugs.
